Who would have thought it? Not even 4 months on from our first blog post and Franglaise Cooking has been shortlisted for a BiB (Brilliance in Blogging) award in the Food category.
For those of you not familiar with the world of blogging, the BiBs awards are like the Oscars but for family blogs. They are national awards where tens of thousands of blogs are nominated, before being shortlisted to just 16 blogs per category. The public then vote for their favourite blog amongst the 16 in each category, leading to a final 6 which are announced on the 23rd May. These 6 finalists attend the BiBs awards ceremony on the 20th June at The Brewery in London, where Katy Hill will announce the lucky winner. Eek!
We are touched by those who voted for us, as we didn’t even think about asking for nominations, believing our blog wasn’t old enough or well-known enough yet. Thank you for proving us wrong.
We thought such a big deal was worthy of our first vlog so here we are:
Please vote for us – you have until the 16th May – by clicking on the link below. You need to enter your name and email address (purely to confirm that bloggers’ mums aren’t voting 100 times for the same blog!), and then select Franglaise Cooking in number 4 (the food category), before clicking “Done” at the bottom of the page.
Thank you so much. Merci beaucoup.
