This recipe is a nice and easy one, which takes very little time once you’ve got your turkey marinaded, so it’s a great one for beginners. We’ve also found it to be very popular with the kids, as well as with friends when we’re entertaining, I think it’s something to do with the mix of flavours between the lemon and the rosemary that makes it stand out.

Get all your ingredients for the marinade ready.
Prepare the marinade first. Wash the lemon and grate the skin with a thin grater so you get all the zest (avoid grating the white part underneath the yellow part as it's bitter) and put it in a tupperware box. Squeeze the lemon through your hands over the tupperware box so you can easily catch and throw away the pips. Add the olive oil, crushed garlic, French mustard and chopped rosemary. Cut the turkey breast scallops into 1-2cm wide slices and add them to the tupperware box. Stir well, cover with the lid and put in the fridge for at least 2 hours but preferably overnight.
Put your saucepan and your frying pan onto a high heat. Switch your kettle on. Get all the rest of your ingredients ready.
Pour the boiling water into the saucepan and blanch the gnocchi, when the first ones start rising to the top of the saucepan they're ready. It should only take about 2 minutes.
Pan fry the chopped onions with 1 tbsp of olive oil for 2 minutes on a high heat and then put to one side.
Pan fry the turkey with the marinade on a high heat for 8 minutes.
Add the onions and the cream and cook for 2 more minutes.
Add the gnocchi, stir well and season to taste.
